Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries located in Middleton, has an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual in our Materials department as a Buyer. This position is responsible for supporting company operations through the procurement and expediting of supplies, materials, and services, with emphasis on lean and continuous improvement as demanded by the systems and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: 
• Initiate purchase orders as needed to meet material demands.
• Track open orders to ensure deliveries of materials meet demand requirements.
• Meet with existing and potential suppliers to overcome any issues that may arise to ensure the continuous supply of products or services to meet the requirements and objectives of the company.
• Support the inventory management goals by maintaining planning information in Enterprise software system and perform periodic inventory audits.
• Potential supplier risk analysis and comparison.
• Review and schedule sales orders as required.

The qualified candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective problem solving skills and strong negotiation skills. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials expediting, procurement, or production management preferably in a manufacturing environment using an ERP/MRP tool, is preferred. Previous experience with industrial motors and drives desired but not required.

Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of high quality stainless steel pumps, mixers and blenders, has an immediate opening on 2nd shift for a machine operator in our Middleton, WI manufacturing facility. This position includes set ups, checking routine programs and operating manual, automatic or semi-automatic NC machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform standard and/or repetitive sequences of operations to meet close tolerance and finish requirements.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of experience with manual, NC and/or CNC machining equipment and operations. Knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques, machine operation and tooling required. Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail a must. Must be able to lift 40-45 lbs frequently and sit or stand for long periods of time.

2nd shift is Monday-Friday, 3pm – 11pm.
