Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with strong expertise in payroll processing and benefits administration to join our team. This hands-on role supports the full spectrum of HR activities—including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and safety—while serving as the primary contact for payroll and benefits matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and skilled at balancing daily HR operations with department initiatives to foster a collaborative, people-centered, and positive workplace.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS/payroll systems to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll-related reports.
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k), including new hire enrollment, changes, and annual open enrollment.
  • Respond promptly to employee payroll and benefits inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
  • Develop talent pipelines through job boards, career fairs, internships, and employee referrals.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and make effective hiring decisions.
  • Coordinate and lead onboarding activities to ensure a seamless and engaging new hire experience.

HR Generalist Functions

  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, attendance, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct or support investigations into harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policy.
  • Manage ADA accommodations, FMLA/leave administration, and other employment law compliance (ADA, FLSA, DOL).
  • Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and supervisor training programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement activities.

Safety & Compliance

  • Support the company safety program by managing safety policies, trainings, and OSHA reporting requirements.
  • Administer workers’ compensation claims, assist in post-accident investigations, and coordinate modified work arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and required postings.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred; 5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with direct payroll and benefits administration responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, employment law, and payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with UKG preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for job fair and recruitment events.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; approachable, firm when needed, and able to earn the trust of both employees and leadership.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What You Bring:

  • Successful experience managing vendors, projects, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, ERP systems, and cybersecurity principles
  • Experience with Progress database ERP systems (Proalpha) is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Experience collaborating with international teams is a benefit
  • Understanding with configurator programming and industrial robots is a plus

Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and driven OEM Sales Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives and grow relationships with large OEMs. In this key role, you the successful individual will combine deep technical knowledge of Fristam products with strong relationship-building skills to expand market share and support the company’s growth goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, and key stakeholders to drive sales growth.
  • Promote Fristam products by clearly articulating technical advantages, performance benefits, and value propositions. Leverage technical expertise to understand pump characteristics and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new OEM business opportunities through proactive prospecting and market research.
  • Conduct product training sessions for OEMs and end-users, highlighting features, maintenance and applications.
  • Collaborate with distributors as needed to influence end users and promote Fristam solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a technical sales role meeting/exceeding territory targets.
  • Strong technical aptitude with mechanical systems, preferably pumps or similar equipment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record in managing a sales pipeline and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble Fristam products for demonstrations or troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the territory. Valid drivers’ license required.

Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, has an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in our Middleton, WI manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing and distributing materials and products within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Receive all incoming parts and RGA’s including stocking into correct locations and receiving into the manufacturing software
  • Process all shipments to meet shipping deadlines
  • Label parts and locations
  • Accurately pull parts for customer orders in a timely manner
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Palletize raw castings and forgings
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Support the Customer Service department with daily order activities

What You Bring with You (Qualifications / Experience):

A successful Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will possess the following:

  • A background in warehousing, including shipping, receiving and inventory preferred
  • A good attitude, team player, and a focus on safety
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly; 75 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to read and process documentation related to shipping, receiving, and storage
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of appropriate work instructions and procedures
  • High attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, walking, bending and handling materials
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to effectively network with internal and external associates of the company
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on meticulous housekeeping
  • Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, UPS and Fed-Ex software, and Internet navigation

Fristam Pumps, a leading manufacturer of high quality stainless steel pumps, mixers and blenders, has an immediate openings on 2nd shift for CNC Machinists in our Middleton, WI manufacturing facility.

2nd shift position is Monday – Thursday, 2pm – 12am (10 hours)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • This position includes set ups, checking routine programs and operating manual, automatic or semi-automatic NC machine tools and/or CNC machining equipment to perform standard and/or repetitive sequences of operations to meet close tolerance and finish requirements.

What You Will Bring with You (Qualifications/Experience):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with manual, NC and/or CNC machining equipment and operations.
  • Knowledge of machine shop practices and techniques, machine operation and tooling required.
  • Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail a must.
  • Must be able to lift 40-45 lbs. frequently and sit or stand for long periods of time.
