Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, has an immediate opening for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in our Middleton, WI manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing and distributing materials and products within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: • Receive all incoming parts and RGA’s including stocking into correct locations and receiving into the manufacturing software • Process all shipments to meet shipping deadlines • Label parts and locations • Accurately pull parts for customer orders in a timely manner • Loading and unloading of trucks • Palletize raw castings and forgings • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Support the Customer Service department with daily order activities
Qualifications: A successful Shipping & Receiving Coordinator will possess the following: • A background in warehousing, including shipping, receiving and inventory preferred • A good attitude, team player, and a focus on safety • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly; 75 lbs. occasionally • Ability to read and process documentation related to shipping, receiving, and storage • Demonstrated understanding and use of appropriate work instructions and procedures • High attention to detail • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be able to operate a forklift • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, walking, bending and handling materials • Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills and the ability to effectively network with internal and external associates of the company • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on meticulous housekeeping • Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, UPS and Fed-Ex software, and Internet navigation

Fristam Pumps USA, a leading manufacturer of pumps and mixers for the food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries located in Middleton, Wisconsin is searching for a self-motivated, results-driven individual to join our Polishing & Welding department as the Production Supervisor. This position is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing daily activities of production associates over assigned shifts, ensuring that the department has adequate resources to meet the company’s targets, and that all pump parts meet company quality standards. Due to the diverse make up of the team, the ideal candidate will be bilingual (English/Spanish) OR be able to demonstrate proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the Spanish language.
What You’ll Be Doing: • Carry out supervisory responsibilities including ensuring company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to and application of policies/procedures are applied fairly and consistently; plan, assign, and direct workload for associates; conduct annual performance reviews, as well as disciplinary actions, address and resolve associate issues; train and develop associates; review and approval of timesheets and time off • Prioritize workload and ensure parts workflow is efficient in order to meet daily production goals; adjust priorities as needed with minimal disruption and downtime • Manage and approve department expenditures for supplies, materials, staffing; ensuring that materials, labor and/or equipment are used effectively and efficiently to meet production goals • Establish and maintain standard polishing and welding procedures; develop new polishing and welding processes as needed • Set department goals and establish performance metrics/plans to meet outlined goals; regularly communicate departmental performance and improvements • Create an environment of continuous improvement and associate development by ensuring proper training and cross training is being done throughout the department • Support the Business Management System, 5S activities, workplace scans, and cycle counting • Promote and maintain a clean and safe working environment
What You Bring with You (Qualifications/Experience): • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in management, business, or relevant technical field; In lieu of degree, previous experience combined with post-secondary education and/or technical training in a relevant field will be considered • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment leading a diverse group of people in a team environment • Previous TIG welding experience preferred; knowledge of welding techniques and applications required • Ability to speak, read and write fluently in Spanish • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read or interpret blueprints and engineering drawings • Demonstrted experience with process improvement, budgeting, and meeting/exceeding production standards • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information to various audiences • Planning, problem-solving and attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and prioritize time wisely • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong aptitude working in an ERP or other related system
